When your phone turns into a game console - Nessaj - Samsung és Microsoft
During the fall of 2020, Xbox started its Game Pass service for the mobile phone users as well, opening a new gate for players, since those games that previously only ran on consoles or preferrably high end PC-s – providing very small amount of mobility – now run excellent without involving an external hardware.
For Microsoft’s request, Nessaj did it with Samsung’s new flagship, the Note 20 Ultra, since its 120 Hz screen still compensates the absence of the big screen’s quality, while it’s performance could run games like Gears 5, or No Man’s Sky easily by its own.
Though thanks to the Game Pass, the game uses the performance of Microsoft’s servers and the game gets to the screen streamed, like we would watch our own interactive gameplay video. Thanks to that gaming can be fun from a less powerful device, but of course, a Note 20 Ultra-like machine shows definitelly more. The question pops up immediatelly, that what will the mobile game-developers do as their next move, if there is a need for them at all, but the future tells it.
